Description
In 2022 the Standards for Excellence Committee made a change to the board leadership succession policy in stating that the board should have a written plan. The plan does not need to be board approved but the whole board should receive a copy of the plan so that they know the policy and procedure for a succession plan for board leadership. PANO developed a sample plan and this is free to anyone.
