This webinar will explore the science behind why stress hijacks your brain and how that affects your body, your physical health, and your mental health. You will learn how mindfulness can be a tool to change your brain’s response to stress over time and increase your resilience, which is your ability to recover quickly from stress. Following a brief presentation, participants will have the opportunity to practice in-the-moment techniques to quiet the mind, including STOP, straw breathing, and belly breathing. During this time, attendees will be invited to engage in the practices directly.
