This webinar will include how the motivations and needs of the volunteer workforce differ from the paid workforce. It will describe recent research identifying 5 distinct volunteer satisfaction elements and the strength of their association with one’s intent to remain involved as a volunteer. This webinar will examine the varying needs and motivations associated with different demographic categories of your volunteer workforce. This information will then be used to describe best practices for organizations that want to assure they are continually addressing the needs of their volunteers. Present tools currently being used by cutting edge volunteer researchers and organizations as well as tools adapted from the research to fit into organizational practice will be used, too.
