Making space for your team to grow and flourish is one of the most fulfilling aspects of nonprofit management. It can also lead to worry, frustration, and even heartbreak. If you manage people in paid staff positions, this half-day program is for you! The purpose of this gathering is two-fold:
Not only will you learn from the conversation facilitator, Janet McNally, D.Ed., SPHR, but also from the experiences of others in the room. And best of all (we hope!), you will have “your people” to call on when the event is over – which is the true value of the PANO network. So if you have one or people on your team, please invest in yourself and join us! When you register, you will have the opportunity to inform content by letting us know what you need most in this “managing people” space. BTW, we know that “people managers” are not limited to those who carry the title of HR manager, or those “accidental HR professionals” (like many Executive Directors), but other managers, too. With intention, this event is in-person only. We have heard from those coming to post-pandemic events the importance of personal connections made over coffee or meals. If you are not able to attend this convening, we hope you will be able to attend others coming up. Our time together will include:
Managing people doesn’t have to be isolating – join us and find your people management people! |
Agenda: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM | Registration & Networking |
Cost: $15 PANO Members | $30 Not Yet Members By signing up for this event, you authorize PANO to use any photos, videos, or recordings from this event in which you may appear. If you would like to request that PANO not use your image, likeness, and/or voice in publications and communications following this event, please reach out to Christina Spadaro | Christina@pano.org. |
Location & Other Logistics: Cleve J. Fredricksen Library While we designed this event so that most can travel to the event in the morning, we also understand that some may want to spend the night before or after. Thus, we are making arrangements for a small block of hotel rooms. Stay tuned for more and please let us know when you register if you plan to stay one of these nights, as this will help us ensure that enough rooms remain available. Light refreshments – including coffee and tea for those who want (or need!) a little afternoon pick-me-up – will be available upon your arrival at the event. And finally, this event is in-person only – with intention. We have heard from those coming to post-pandemic events the importance of personal connections made over coffee or meals. If you are not able to attend this convening, we hope you will be able to attend others coming up. |
