Standards for Excellence 101: What’s What?
Wednesday, April 5 | 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM | Interactive Webinar

Presented by: Debra Thompson, Founder & President, and Jacqui Catrabone, Director of Nonprofit & Community Services, Strategy Solutions, Inc.

Moderated by: Heather Giampapa, Standards for Excellence & Development Director, PANO

Offered in Partnership with: Strategy Solutions, Inc.

We at PANO talk a good deal about Standards for Excellence®. Have you ever found yourself asking, “What exactly is that?” Well, you’re in luck, because this webinar will answer that question and lots more!

The Standards for Excellence ethics and accountability code supports organizations in meeting the highest standards, legal requirements, and regulatory compliance of nonprofit governance, management, and operations. The six guiding principles of Standards promote integrity in nonprofit management and, ultimately, strengthen the public trust in Pennsylvania’s nonprofit sector.

This interactive intro session to the Standards for Excellence will provide:

  • A basic overview of the Standards for Excellence
  • A breakdown of the 6 Guiding Principles of Standards
  • Information about the Standards Accreditation and Standards Basics Recognition processes
  • A look into the Standards Education Packets (including sample tools and policies), and how to use them
  • Tips for organizing your Standards journey

All participants will receive a self-assessment checklist to identify areas of excellence and opportunities for growth and improvement.

Executive Directors, Board Members, Nonprofit Managers, and everyone who is curious – join us to find out how the Standards can improve your governance, financial systems, personnel practices, fundraising, and more!

*If your org is located in Bucks County, it’s your lucky day! Thanks to the generous support of Foundations Community Partnership, you may be eligible to attend this program free of charge, regardless of your membership status with PANO. Contact Christina at christina@pano.org for details!

Single Login Cost:
$10 per person for PANO Members | $20 per person for Not-Yet Members

Terms of Participation
Your purchase entitles you to a single login. Please do not share the login information with others, as it may interfere with your ability to join. If multiple individuals from your organization would like to view the webinar, please purchase separate tickets for each person or consider a group screening ticket (below).

Group Screening Cost (4-10 individuals):
$32 per group for PANO Members | $64 per group for Not-Yet Members

Terms of Participation
If you have 4-10 individuals interested in viewing the webinar, please have one person register selecting the group ticket. You can then enter the names and email addresses of up to 9 other individuals to add to your group ticket.

This option makes the most sense when you have 4-10 individuals interested in viewing the webinar. For fewer than 4 attendees, a single login ticket for each person is the most cost-effective option. For more than 10 attendees, please email Christina at christina@pano.org to discuss options.

Materials & Login/Call-In Instructions:
Materials (PowerPoint and other handouts), along with instructions on how to login and call-in, will be emailed to attendees a few days prior to the date of the webinar. PANO uses Zoom as our webinar platform; you can familiarize yourself with Zoom and/or join a test meeting prior to these sessions.

Can’t attend? All webinar registrants will receive a recording of the webinar following the live session!
