Your nonprofit has a story, but do you know how to share it visually? Storytelling has evolved from mailings to newsletters to blog posts to social media, relying more on visuals than ever before. Visual storytelling is a crucial tool to community your mission clearly to your constituents, support your marketing and fundraising efforts, and showcase your nonprofit’s impact.

Course Schedule: All sessions take place from 1:00 PM-2:45 PM EDT, with the last 15 minutes reserved for Q&A.
Thursday, April 8: What is your story and why is it important? Are you telling the right story to the right constituent in the most effective way? Effective storytelling is a skill that can help you appeal to potential donors, volunteers, and clients. In this session, we will explore how visual storytelling is important to your nonprofit’s overall strategy and how it supports your fundraising efforts and spotlights your mission.
Thursday, April 15: How to Create and Share Your Story Now that you know how to show your story visually and you’ve identified your audiences, how do you reach them? Where should the story live and when should you share it? In this session, you will learn about the various platforms, how to determine which ones your audiences are using, and how to consider the visuals depending on where they will be seen.
Thursday, April 22: Creating and Sourcing the Visual Assets to Complete Your Story Now that you know your story and where to share it, how do you get your visuals? In this session, you’ll learn the best practices for producing videos and images using available resources.
