Taking the Fear Out of Fundraising for Boards Presented by: Stephanie Cory, Principal, Philanthropy and Governance Consulting by Stephanie Cory Offered in Partnership with: Stephanie Cory |
If we lived in a perfect world, every board member would double as a major gifts officer for their organization, but the reality is that fundraising is right up there with death and public speaking on the list of biggest fears. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be that way!
In this session, we’ll look at the board’s role in fundraising from a governance perspective, discussing what your organization can reasonably expect from individual board members. We’ll explore specific, do-able ways that even the most introverted board member can play a key role in fundraising – without making an ask! Plus, we’ll share engaging activities you can employ at your next meeting to get your board more comfortable with fundraising.
This workshop is for you if you’re ready to:
Let’s take the fear out of fundraising (and put the ‘fun’ back in!).
