Description

Taking the Fear Out of Fundraising for Boards
Thursday, May 6 | 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM EST | Webinar

Presented by: Stephanie Cory, Principal, Philanthropy and Governance Consulting by Stephanie Cory

Offered in Partnership with: Stephanie Cory

If we lived in a perfect world, every board member would double as a major gifts officer for their organization, but the reality is that fundraising is right up there with death and public speaking on the list of biggest fears. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be that way!

In this session, we’ll look at the board’s role in fundraising from a governance perspective, discussing what your organization can reasonably expect from individual board members. We’ll explore specific, do-able ways that even the most introverted board member can play a key role in fundraising – without making an ask! Plus, we’ll share engaging activities you can employ at your next meeting to get your board more comfortable with fundraising.

This workshop is for you if you’re ready to:

  • Confidently explain the board’s role in fundraising
  • Engage your board members appropriately and effectively in fundraising efforts
  • Increase your board members’ confidence in fundraising

Let’s take the fear out of fundraising (and put the ‘fun’ back in!).

*If your org is located in Bucks, Northampton, and/or Lehigh County, it’s your lucky day! Single Login Cost:

$30 per person for PANO Members | $66 per person for Not-Yet Members

Terms of Participation
Your purchase entitles you to a single login. Please do not share the login information with others, as it may interfere with your ability to join. If multiple individuals from your organization would like to view the webinar, please purchase separate tickets for each person or consider a group screening ticket (below).

Group Screening Cost (4-10 individuals):
$100 per group for PANO Members | $222 per group for Not-Yet Members

Terms of Participation
If you have 4-10 individuals interested in viewing the webinar, please have one person register selecting the group screening rate, then send a list of all individuals viewing the webinar (including names and email addresses) to christina@pano.org.

This option makes the most sense when you have 4-10 individuals interested in viewing the webinar. For fewer than 4 attendees, a single login ticket for each person is the most cost-effective option. For more than 10 attendees, please email Christina at christina@pano.org to discuss options.

Materials & Login/Call-In Instructions:
Materials (PowerPoint and other handouts), along with instructions on how to login and call-in, will be emailed to attendees a few days prior to the date of the webinar. PANO uses Zoom as our webinar platform; you can familiarize yourself with Zoom and/or join a test meeting prior to these sessions.

Can’t attend? All webinar registrants will receive a recording of the webinar following the live session!
