Get Your Fundraising “Docs” in a Row: Acknowledgements, Disclosures, and More!
Tuesday, April 13 | 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM | Webinar

Presented by: Tish Mogan, Director of Standards for Excellence, PANO

Fundraising is key to the survival of many nonprofits – perhaps even more so now than ever before in the face of an ongoing pandemic, economic crisis, and civil unrest. The need for our missions has skyrocketed but so has donor support. In times like these, how can we maximize donor trust AND ensure we are keeping up with all legal and regulatory aspects of fundraising? That’s where this webinar comes in!

Join Tish Mogan, PANO’s Standards for Excellence Director, for this fast-paced session covering:

  • When a written acknowledgement is required
  • The official language that must be included in fundraising solicitations and acknowledgements
  • What is and is not deductible when writing an acknowledgement
  • Acknowledging in-kind donations
  • How to address the value of a dinner/give-away for individual and event sponsors
  • When an organization needs to register to fundraise in other states
  • What financial documents must be provided to members of the public
  • What to include on your website to build donor trust

Can’t attend? No problem! All registrants receive a copy of the recording and supporting materials following the live presentation.

2020 threw us all for a loop – let’s get back on track in 2021 and get our fundraising “docs” in a row.

*If your org is located in Bucks, Northampton, and/or Lehigh County, it’s your lucky day! Thanks to the generous support of The Provident Bank Foundation, you are eligible to attend this program free of charge, regardless of your membership status with PANO. Contact Christina at christina@pano.org for details!

Single Login Cost:
$30 per person for PANO Members | $66 per person for Not-Yet Members

Terms of Participation
Your purchase entitles you to a single login. Please do not share the login information with others, as it may interfere with your ability to join. If multiple individuals from your organization would like to view the webinar, please purchase separate tickets for each person or consider a group screening ticket (below).

Group Screening Cost (4-10 individuals):
$100 per group for PANO Members | $222 per group for Not-Yet Members

Terms of Participation
If you have 4-10 individuals interested in viewing the webinar, please have one person register selecting the group screening rate, then send a list of all individuals viewing the webinar (including names and email addresses) to christina@pano.org.

This option makes the most sense when you have 4-10 individuals interested in viewing the webinar. For fewer than 4 attendees, a single login ticket for each person is the most cost-effective option. For more than 10 attendees, please email Christina at christina@pano.org to discuss options.

Materials & Login/Call-In Instructions:
Materials (PowerPoint and other handouts), along with instructions on how to login and call-in, will be emailed to attendees a few days prior to the date of the webinar. PANO uses Zoom as our webinar platform; you can familiarize yourself with Zoom and/or join a test meeting prior to these sessions.

Can’t attend? All webinar registrants will receive a recording of the webinar following the live session!
