This workshop will take a brief look at State Unemployment Insurance, the rising costs, and risks going into 2021 and beyond. We will also review safe cost-saving alternatives available to nonprofit organizations.

 

This workshop is being offered free of charge by our friends at First Nonprofit, proud sponsors of the 2020 Collaborative Conference.

Login and call-in instructions will be emailed to attendees a few days prior to the date of the webinar, along with any materials (PowerPoint, handouts, etc.), if applicable. The Collaborative Conference team will be using Zoom as our webinar platform; you can familiarize yourself with Zoom and/or join a test meeting prior to these sessions.

About the Presenter:

Hailing from “The Biggest Little city in the World”, Marshall Whittey left Reno, NV, for Chicago, IL, to join First Nonprofit as Regional Sales Director. It’s been 10 years now and he’s never looked back! While he still misses the mountains and lakes of the Reno area, he’s gotten used to the Chicago buildings and skyline. More than that, he’s happy to earn his living at a company that helps nonprofits save money, allowing them to allocate more funding to their causes and missions. When Marshall isn’t traveling all over the U.S. to meet with clients and learn more about their work, he keeps himself busy with all kinds of physical activity – from wakeboarding and surfing to snowboarding and Tough Mudders. About the 2020 Collaborative Conference:

Were going virtual! Mark your calendars for the last two weeks of October and join conference partners Alliance for Nonprofit Resources (ANR), the Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership (GPNP), PANO, and the Department of Public Administration at Villanova University for our first-ever digital conference experience.
