Online Fundraising: Compliance and Donor Trust
Wednesday, September 23 | 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM | FREE Webinar

Presented by: Sharon Cody, JD, Nonprofit Partnership Manager, Harbor Compliance

Offered in Partnership with: Harbor Compliance, proud Accessibility Sponsor of the 2020 Collaborative Conference

Your website and social media channels are remarkable tools that provide opportunities to reach new donors. But along with wider support, online fundraising brings increased fundraising registration and reporting requirements. It also brings greater scrutiny by prospective donors, grantmakers, and sponsors. Today, potential supporters have many giving opportunities, and trust matters. Demonstrating your accountability, transparency, and commitment to compliance as a best practice can help solidify your status as a well-run organization with a mission worthy of support. Learn about charitable solicitation registration and reporting for traditional, online, and event fundraising, and the positive impact of compliance.

This workshop is being offered free of charge by our friends at Harbor Compliance, proud sponsors of the 2020 Collaborative Conference.

Harbor Compliance helps nonprofits register for charitable solicitation nationwide, secure licensing for cause marketing co-ventures and fundraising professionals, form entities, and achieve 501(c) tax exemption. Please note that you do not need to be registered for the conference in order to attend this workshop but we invite you to learn more about Reimagining Together here.

 About the 2020 Collaborative Conference:

Were going virtual! Mark your calendars for the last two weeks of October and join conference partners Alliance for Nonprofit Resources (ANR), the Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership (GPNP), PANO, and the Department of Public Administration at Villanova University for our first-ever digital conference experience. Will it be the same as our annual in-person gathering? Probably not. Will we still challenge ourselves and each other to dig deep, get vulnerable, expand our horizons, and grow together? You bet. Will we also have fun while we learn from each other and from expert speakers? We think so! While we’ll miss seeing all of you in State College, we’re excited to see what this year’s online format will make possible. Come along with us for Reimagining Together and see where the possibilities take us. Learn more here!
