The Housing Alliance of PA, Hunger-Free Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations, Pennsylvania State Alliance of YMCAs, and United Way of Pennsylvania are proud to co-host a Virtual Town Hall Series this summer for key state leaders to speak with nonprofits about COVID-19 recovery and their partnership with the nonprofit sector. Each town hall will be a moderated question and answer session with each leader.
In our fourth conversation, a panel of the partnering organizations led by David John, VP of Government Affairs for the Pennsylvania State Alliance of YMCAs, will moderate a Q&A with Executive Deputy Secretary Pamela Smith of the PA Department of Education. Topics will include many of the issues facing families and schools as a new academic year begins, including COVID-19 guidance for educational settings, availability of additional services and supports that are typically provided in-person in the school setting, the increased need for school-age child care, and more.
