Does a general pot of PTO count as paid family leave and sick time pay?
We are currently paying employees exempt and non-exempt the next 2 weeks. If we layoff and employees get unemployment can we help to make employees “whole” legally because many hourly are living paycheck to paycheck?
In addition to unemployment (UE) and the pain of going that route, does anyone have ideas in continuing benefits and still being compliant with the law?
Do you anticipate extensions of current unemployment benefits for those that are already on it and close to expiring?
